Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the FactHuntr mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the App.

Description of Service

FactHuntr is a mobile application that provides AI-powered fact-checking services for content from social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. The App analyzes submitted URLs and provides fact-checking reports based on available information.

AI Technology and Third-Party Services

FactHuntr uses artificial intelligence (AI) technology, including third-party AI services, to analyze content and generate fact-checking reports. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Analysis results are generated using AI models provided by third-party services including OpenAI and Perplexity AI.
• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information.
• The quality and availability of AI services depend on third-party providers and may change without notice.
• Content you submit for analysis may be processed by these third-party AI services in accordance with their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
• You should independently verify important information and not rely solely on AI-generated fact-checks for critical decisions.

Third-Party Content

The App analyzes content from third-party social media platforms. We do not own or control this content. The display of third-party content within fact-check results is for informational and analytical purposes only, in accordance with fair use principles.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Free and Paid Services

Free Tier

• The App provides 3 free fact-check analyses per user.
• Free analyses are subject to availability and may be limited during high-demand periods.

Pro Subscription

• After 3 free analyses, users must subscribe to the Pro service to continue using the App.
• Pro subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and are subject to their terms and conditions.
• Subscription fees, billing cycles, and cancellation policies are determined by RevenueCat and the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes.
• Not submit URLs that contain illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
• Not attempt to circumvent the free analysis limit or subscription requirements.
• Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Not use the App to violate any laws or regulations.

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by FactHuntr and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimers

Accuracy of Results

• Fact-checking results are provided for informational purposes only.
• Results are based on available information and AI analysis at the time of processing.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any fact-check results.
• You should not rely solely on our fact-check results for making important decisions.

Service Availability

• We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or that it will be error-free.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• FactHuntr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Pro subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FactHuntr from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date.

Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland (Rzeczpospolita Polska), without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kraków, Poland (Sąd właściwy dla Krakowa).

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and FactHuntr regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
